She does, on occasion. Okay, most of the time. We're trying not to let it go to her head.

And thanks, dude!

That is one fluffy pup.

But honestly I'm here to just gawk at that GORGEOUS cover art. I love the colors, I love the character design, I love all of it.

Kick ASS! I'm so happy for you!

Your icon is mesmerizing.

Yes, Kiba is fluffy!

And I'm so glad you like the cover! You have a discerning eye. I'm really curious how it'll be received. I've had a lot of people look at it and say "I would take that off a shelf", which is what it's supposed to do, but I've also seen some reactions that it's "weird". It is different, and I guess we'll see from the numbers whether that's good or bad. :)

Btw, congrats on your story in Bewere the Night! Can't wait to read the final collection!

Thanks!

And FWIW, I picked up my first Mercedes Lackey book because it had a gryphon on the cover. :)

Same here! Likewise the first fantasy book I ever read (not counting classics, and I wrap Narnia in with those) - Piers Anthony's The Source of Magic!

I'm hoping to rely on the "it has a gryphon on its cover" market segment... ;)

I'd also really like to get a signed print of Jody Lee's Black Gryphon cover someday...
