and I get to make first comment! This is all awesomeness! Note, do not let Kiba chew on the author's copy you should be getting soon.

and I agree with the art. I have quibbles about the gryphon design, but that's from a purist PoV. The cover over all is, of course, AWESOME!

Ha. :) Yes, she will have to be kept away from any copies. So far she hasn't shown actual interest in books, though none have been much left in her reach -- mail and cardboard, on the other hand...

I like it. It *feels* right for the book, if that makes sense?

Seeing and sharing the cover art is one of my favorite parts of the process. Glad you're enjoying the ride! :-)

Thanks, Jim! Much appreciated! And it makes perfect sense! I was honestly astonished at how well he captured Ariadel, in the important ways...

Covers are amazing. :X

Ha! Thanks! And I would love to make it out to Austin sometime for _something_ having to do with the book -- Jay and I both love BookPeople. :)

I like to think I'm having something of a part in contributing another gryphon book cover to the world. ;)

*laughs* Austin would love to have you! BookPeople is really a wonderful spot, one of Austin's finer contributions to the world.

And hurrah for gryphons! I really need to wrap up my current two WIPs, see if they're shoppable, and then get back to my gryphon-centric works.
