Checking in briefly from my sister's rather fantastic cabin south of Denver. Photos from the trip will be up on a Flickr at some point.

Very much ahead of schedule, Booksurge put Settlers of the New Virtual Worlds out on Amazon -- we finalized the book a week ago, but had thought it would take at least two to three weeks to appear on Amazon. ( Read more... )

Apparently there's some other stuff going on in Denver as well...

You know, I heard about that!

(Actually, my sisters and I listened to Hillary's speech on NPR driving back to the cabin with a spectacular thunderstorm going on over the Rockies. Added a lot of atmosphere to what I already thought was one of her best speeches.)

The book is on my list of things to buy on my next Amazon binge. You really had my attention when I misread "AustinGDC" as "AutismGDC."

Hope you enjoy it! Even if it isn't autism-related. Games for autism is a fascinating idea, though. I know that some kids use typing programs to communicate, so there probably is a whole little world of games there that I am currently unaware of...

Congrats for the potential book goodness.

Wait, you're moving where?

I might be returning to the states (read: west coast).

Oh, and "Hi".

MoveD. :) We are in devastatingly sunny Long Beach, CA. I am glad to be 'home', though I'll feel better when all of my Stuff is safely back arrived. Should be Tuesday. What is this lazy 'Labor Day' business? ;)

Where are you going? When are you going? I suppose I should email you. Hello!
