And to entirely neutralize your point to this post, I'm replying without reading any of the links thus having no background knowledge on the subject!

WOOT!

Anyway, regardless as to whether or not they will actually succeed in putting laws into place that heavily regulate the internet, there will always exist some means of accessing it that would bypass any content regulation, ISP gayness, or what-have-you. It's just a matter of finding it.

I guess it falls into my logic of "instead of trying to counter hackers, *cough* MacroShaft *cough* why not offer them a means to utilize their talents and yet still maintain some semblance of control."

I could go off on that if you want, but for now I'm silencing myself.

Fallocy to your logic - i know you and your background. you don't need to read the links to be well versed in the topic. you already have an indepth knowledge. so therefore your counter is retorted.

but your right. the hackers ussually find a way.

Hehe, Felten actually posted on my blog. This is kinda cool :)

I understand what he is saying, but I still think that speaking "on the fly" is not a valid excuse. Some people can improvise on the spot, and they sound great. Others simply must take extra time to prepare or face ridicule.

Sigh... You know that something is wrong with the system if bills are so long and complex that no one has time to read them before voting on them.
