Aww, ya disappeared there for a little while, glad to see you're back :) *hugs* Hmm... well you listed a whole lot of 'cons' there about doing this, but it must have had it's merits to do so, or else you probably would not have done... What tipped the scales for this route, then?
To answer your question, it's not the practical decision. But this route allows me to be a college kid again, something I let go of really quickly in my first year of undergraduate. You're only young once, right?
Also, it will allow me sometime to "re-center" myself as it were. After my surgery, so much of my life has been consumed with just getting to the next week, or month, paying down bills, keeping things running, that it will be nice to be able to slow down a little and work on just me by myself, without having to try and balance 3 and 4 things at once.
And, if I decide it's a bad choice, I can always move back to KC in the Spring. While this job is great, I know I'm employable. I can find other work if I have to. (I say some of this just as much for me as for anyone else *lol*).
So, speaking of moves and such, how goes your move to NJ? All moved in yet?
Ahh.. now I see. Well to tell you the truth, that makes perfect sense to me. I mean, when my initial four undergraduate years were over, I totally was still not ready to go out into the world yet. I dare say, at the time, I may have even had a little bit of a nervous breakdown about the whole thing. I changed my major right then and there in the last year, and went on to go for another two years afterwards. (My parents were none too pleased about all this, let me tell you! ;-P
