i was so painfully shy as a kid that my parents were worried about me. thank god i got over that.

I was extremely shy - in school. Thankfully, I had a bunch of neighborhood boys to boss around, so I compensated, haha.

Same here! (Although bringing someone to Michigan could be seen as cruel since there's not much to do where I live).
