Pff, you forget who you're talkin' to, dummy. Course I got somethin' planned. I was actually gonna pull you aside on Saturday but...some stuff came up. You know how he's up on this music kick thing lately, right? The rec center here at the Fifth is all enclosed--I was gonna see if we could figure out some way to like...I dunno, jack the acoustics. I think I still have a shred of soul left to sell to Urahara-san for a little help; thought we could see if there was a way to help him record some'a his stuff to those flat plastic donuts they listen to music with in the living world. He might think that's cool, right?

If you need a shred of soul to sell to Urahara, I could do the honours. Wabisuke's been pulling mine apart for the best part of a fortnight and I had a bit of an argument with Ayasegawa-fukutaichou so I'm sure some pre-portioned bits around here I can lend.

It sounds like a good plan. I'm not entirely sure I understand half the things you said, but I'm sure it'll make sense when I see it.

Some? Wabisuke's been keeping me awake, feeding my anxieties... I got a good night's sleep the night before last, thanks to the sake, but I can't go drinking that much every time I can't get my head down.

Maybe it's better to sell him your soul after all, Abarai-kun; we should try not to put out more than one captain at once, and Urahara-san might get ideas otherwise. Besides, if you break something, I don't want to be the one paying it back

Good. Don't mention it to Hisagi-senpai but we're bringing cake. I'll try not to let anything go wrong with it, but Hinamori-kun's kitchen seems to be under some kind of curse.

That's right, Wednesday. The icing will act as a preservative, so it will last until it's needed. If we have any left over mixture we can make cupcakes, too.

It's not you, Hisagi-kun. I had a lot to deal with after what happened with Hitsugaya-taichou. I never meant to make it worse in the process.

I guess seeing me at Captains' Meetings isn't quite the same, and I'm sorry I haven't been there. I guess it's too much to hope that I can make it up with a few bottles of sake?
