So...an email came to me today about a department on campus who is looking for "staff or faculty" leaders (which I think I qualify as even though I'm a "fixed term") for the alternative spring break program. They have spots open for Biloxi, MS (hurricane support) or Golden Pond, KY (USDA Forest Service). I'm so very tempted. It would be of minimal ( Read more... )

Biloxi, MS is just a few hour drive from Camp Sister Spirit in Ovett,MS! That is an awesome place... not too far from New Orleans either. That would be so much fun!

yeah, I just wonder how much time I would have to do anything else... What a blast to see Camp Sister Spirit!

I remember driving to Biloxi, just to pick up a car. That is where the mechanic was.... it is so close you could come for dinner and go home for bed. LOL
