My car has bad ju-ju

Yesterday I came out of Mitre 10 to find a hole in the bumper, approximately the size of a tow bar. Sadly I did not find a note attached to my windscreen. Does my car have bad ju-ju, or is it me? So I took it back to the panel beater (who I'd only just seen a week or so ago). He laughed at me. Then he told me it'd be around the $400 mark. To

I do have insurance, but the excess and loss of no claims bonus makes it not worth it.

Suggest getting some tape approximately the same colour as the hole and sticking it over, so it's a bit less blindingly obvious.

Aa an added bonus, the covering will also slow the onset of nasty rust :o)
