Gundam needs more adult protagonists (Gundam 0083 and 0080 comes to mind).

AMEN. I agree wholeheartedly!

Now I really wish Advance of Zeta: Flag of the Titans gets an anime adaptation...

:O What ever happened to that? I read like... a very little of it when I was at Zeonic Corps, but I forgot all about it!! :O

It's not entirely rational, but people often do really feel this way. The reason why is that, because humans are potentially very dangerous to other humans (we are 50-100 kilo highly intelligent tool-using omnivores, after all), humans have strong inhibitions against killing other "people." These inhibitions do not completely vanish even against enemies in wartime. Therefore, even in battle, generally 25% or less of soldiers will actually attempt to kill enemies rather than merely fire in their direction. This is an important tactical factor, since the minority of "natural fighters" who really try to kill the enemy thus have a disproportionate effect on the battle.

Is it so wrong for someone to feel bad over taking anothers life?

I didn't say that. I just don't want to hear the Protagonist bitch about it the entire show/episode/arc.
