Sounds like it's actually a decent film.

Creepy in concept, no doubt. But sounds like it might be alright.

It's a bit cliche of "Fighting Darkness with Darkness" [the concept in itself, not specifically the Lucifuge], but White Wolf does a great job differentiating it from the cliche-norm.

I watched the foreign version, and it was alright, but there was absolutely nothing I saw that suggested it deserved any of the hype it received.

Oh? I haven't heard of it outside of a commercial I saw last night. It has hype behind it?

for a while there were articles about it on the net all over about how it was the best vampire movie yet.

Let the Right one In had a bunch of hype because it was supposed to follow vampire lore to a T or something like that. But for me it was just alright, I couldn't give a shit about lore. It was a really slow drama about a wimpy ass german kid with emo issues who gets a crush on a 8 year old looking vampire girl.

Wasn't terrible, but there wasn't anything really special about it either.

Got'cha.

And I think Swedish, not German.

I think I know what I'm going to make for your campaign. A Battle-Cleric of Saint Cuthbert.
