This is why I'm forcing myself to watch Death Note in its entirety, just to see how big of a fucking cocksucker Light becomes, so I can fully enjoy his fall from grace.

They're airing 4 eps a week now (3-5AM) for the next few weeks because they want to finish this run up. On Jan 9th (10th technically), they're airing the last 5 eps in a row.

You'd think they would do this to make room for new anime, but it's just going back to reruns of Bleach, FMA, Bebop, GitS, & Big O.

I can't explain it without literally telling you the entire anime synopsis.

I think that is the point, you are not supposed to like the character. The story is allegory for the need of checks and balances in a justice system to attempt to prevent excesses.

Sadly, lot of teens reading and watching it don't get it.
