oh yeah I hear the get a job thing all the time. I start teaching at baker college in september, so I have a job, just not a job soon enough it appears. plus savings. So my mom is ultra pissed that I've so far been to Mexico, am going to Cedar Point next week (probably, possibly, so long as my friend has Tuesday or Wednesday off from there), going to the UP the following weekend, and going to Illinois and Wisconsin in August. I've spent my days writing grants for the Seaway Chorale so they might exist after this season, and have been studying up and planning for my class, so it's not like I'm unbusy. Apparently if I'm not directly serving people it's not good enough. Morons. ~Jill

In re: to your Dad's bitchiness...I found that with my dad,if he hadn't been able to bitch at me for awhile, he would go ape shit about every little thing for about a week, I think it was his way of letting me know he missed me. I know it's no excuse for his behavior, and am IN NO WAY sticking up for him, because I know how it feels on some level.
