So... half this day ended up being the Shitiest Day Ever. Go go go! I have lately been OBSESSED with AU fics, because they can be fantastically NON-crack, because OH HEY THESE CHARACTERS ARE FUCKING WIN. Would die for WWII angst and sexed-up Greaser.

Wikipedia is being very unhelpful for the little facts I want to know. I might just end up going to a library, lol.

If you need a cheerleader I am THERE. I've been wanting to see an AU in that era for a while now. If you need any help with ideas/facts I would be glad to help. I'm not an uber expert myself, instead I've always focused on the psychological aspects of the era. However my brother and sister practically have a PhD in that time period and I've learned most of it by osmosis. (We used to correct our teachers in grade school over their facts. Srsly!)

Psychological aspects is very much what the internet cannot provide for me! The facts are easy to find, what I want is the feel of how people were back then.
