Great work! I love the contrast between the black rat and background, and then the middle tones of the coat and hat, up to the pale tones of his face.

Plus it looks like Charles Dance too, and the expression is spot on. Lovely.

i have so much love for this! the patterns on his clothes and hat, stark against the solid dark background, the expression on his face and the folds under his eyes, the framing, that rat--everything just exudes this eerie aura that's perfect for Aredian. fantastic job!
