And was Arthur's first fight a bit of a nod to Indiana Jones, or is it just me?
It didn't occur to me at the time, but yes, thinking back, it does remind a lot of Indiana Jones!
Yes to everything you said about the episode, especially the paragraph about Gilli and Merlin. :)
after all the mediocre reviews it got
Mediocre reviews for DH? Really? I must have read only the good ones, then. :) I loved the film (and I'm not much of a fan of the previous ones) and your own review of it is great! I really can't get enough reading reaction posts. ;)
We saw DH yesterday and I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it did not suck! They finally let Rupert Grint act, how wonderful. I'm just really, really, really hoping the final film won't be full of pap and sentiment. I would beg them to skip the entire epilogue.
Yeah, I hope the ending of Part 2 doesn't get too bogged down in the Epilogue, although I know they filmed at least some of it. Anybody who is in their thirties can be offended by the ridiculous make-up they put on these kids to "age" them up. ;)
