We go to Worldcon most years, although we're a bit on the fence about Montreal in 2009 -- in part because my husband isn't keen on Montreal, but also because there's stuff we don't do year after year because it's too close to Worldcon. So maybe next year will be a "let's do that other stuff finally!" year. ArmadilloCon is one such thing; it's the week after Worldcon this year. Sigh.....

Oops, forgot to mention.... I've been to World Fantasy twice. I don't think I'm likely to go to one that's not within driving distance. It's such a different flavor than Worldcon -- which is not itself a bad thing. But I've got a soft spot for Worldcon, which has been enjoyable for me as a fan and a writer.

I've never been to either a Worldcon or a World Fantasy - didn't go to cons for years because I had no money.
So now I want to go to them all at least once! :D

We'll see how that works out. Heh.

Thinking of Neil Gaiman and his writing partner Terry Pratchett... there's a Discworld convention in 2009 that is on my calendar. :D

Wow, that does look cool. I should tell my mom. ;)
I hope Terry will be in good shape for that!
