One silly quibble about the concept of Muggle Quidditch though...
The brooms are for transportation in quidditch. If you can't fly them, hopping around with them is the equivalent of leading around your horse while you're playing Segway polo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segway_polo) isn't it?
