Sims 3: Collections

I got into a gemstone collection spree today, and I decided to make a list of the items I collected.  There appears to be 8 different types of gemstones, 5 types of metals, and 32 types of space rocks.  This post will be devoted to screenshots of the various gemstones and cuts.

Plutonium? Which can have flakes spontaneously ignite in moist air? Like, radioactive materials?

THey show it as a bar there about the same size as the other metal bars - without something to show scale we don't know how big the bars are, but you only need about 10 lbs of refined plutonium to make an atomic bomb...

So what are the sims getting up to in Sims 3, anyway? O_O

Then again, I love how a quartz gem has the same value as a ruby... ;)

Actually, I probably should have specified. The price listed in each picture is the cost to have the uncut gem cut into that shape. I honestly didn't even think to check the value of the cut gems.
