I always thought Irene Adler in the original books was the only PERSON ever to best Sherlock Holmes, not the only WOMAN, which kinda makes it all the more annoying that she doesn't get the chance to do it here.

And FWIW, I would watch Sherlotta.

Yeah, that's what I thought too! But I couldn't find anything on wiki and I don't know the source material well enough to make that blanket statement.

Actually this makes me think of the Sherlock movie and how they basically disposed of her while again, making her part of a man's grand plans to furthering a man's growth AND IT'S MAKING ME MAD ALL OVER AGAIN
