Reading my Yuletide gift again, and I still love it, oh my god. Need to rewatch this movie at some point, I think. Sometimes I feel like the hard-on I have for the movie is bordering on ridiculous

That's almost exactly how I felt about Inception! Good film.

I'm guessing Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Cillian Murphy were not as attractive to you in the same way they were to me ;)

I read someone talking about Memento in quite the same way. It's a brilliantly mindfucky movie the first time you watch it but because of the "twist" at the end, rewatching it doesn't really bring any benefit, whereas say a movie like Fight Club, knowing the twist makes the rewatch that much more satisfying
