Unfortunately, even though he was capable of brushing his teeth hard enough to make the bristles fall out, it didn't magically repair his teeth. He'd been putting dentist appointments off long enough with the case to worry about, but he was paying for it now. He wasn't sure what could be wrong, but he did notice that they were really sensitive to hot and cold, if nothing else. So he knocked on the door. He didn't like the dentist, but he couldn't do this himself either.

He still appeared as stone-faced as ever, though. It was something he was working on. "...Hello, Kanji." Admittedly Metalman was a little surprised to find this particular young man standing there; Kanji didn't strike him as the sort to willingly ask for help, nor to go out of his way to chat up his teachers. Stepping to the side to allow Kanji easier entrance he asked with suppressed curiosity, "What brings you to my office?"

He looked to the left and to the right for a moment; the hall was empty, so he stood up on his tiptoes to reach the door handle, pulling down and throwing the door open without so much as a knock. "Whatcha doin'?" he asked loudly, bouncing over to the desk and pulling off a random paper to read.

Metalman hardly had time to utter a startled grunt before Roger had burst into the room and swiped from his desk a sheet illustrating several pretty circular saw diagrams and lots of numbers and equations. Nothing that interesting, really, but a child looking for trouble would take whatever hostage he could get. Unfortunately for Roger, Metalman didn't negotiate with terrorists
For now he would pay no heed to Roger's antics; tactics that might've worked to intimidate other Robot Masters lost their effect when it came to strangers. "I'm doing some research for my next class," Metalman replied evenly, returning his eyes to the book before him.

Unfortunately for Metal, Kevin was as unfamiliar with the practice of knocking before opening a door as he was with oral hygiene, so he just pushed it open and walked right in.
"Hello?" He asked.

"Hello," he greeted Kevin and set his pen down. This boy hadn't been to his Metalsmithing class but it looked like he had something to either ask or say regardless, so Metalman fixed him with an attentive gaze and folded his hands on the desk. "What can I do for you?"

"yyYes, I'm Metalman. And I do know a thing or two about teeth." He cocked his head slightly. "What is it you need help with?"

"Hello Mr. Metalman, sir.Thank you again for taking the time to see me." he said politely while pulling his sword out from its hilt. "Well, here it is."
Sparkster tried his best to keep his blade in good condition but it had been a long time since he'd taken to get it reforged and it was beginning to show.
there were signs of faint scratches along the blade and the edge was getting dull and slightly chipped. Scars from the battles it was fought in. Possibly even some from before it ended up in Sparkster's ownership.

He let out a 'hmm' as he scrutinized Sparkster's pride and joy, and upon reaching some conclusion nodded his head. "Your sword's certainly seen better days, but restoring it shouldn't be a problem. Would you like me to completely reforge it for you, then? Doing so shouldn't take more than a day, I would say." Actually that was a bit of a lie. The metal itself wasn't the same as what Metalman had worked with in class, but he had a feeling he could convince the fire to work some magic of its own if he asked politely enough.

With palms open, Sparkster handed his sword over to the metalsmith. "Yes, this thing has been through a lot these past few years but I completely trust your skills."

He had been built to do things, however, so if he buckled down over the next 24 hours he could probably finish by the time Sparkster came calling. It wasn't the longest or thickest sword in existence anyway.
Metalman delicately took the opossum's sword and nodded responsibly. "Thank you. I'll be sure to let you know if I expect any delays."
