Enter Ryoga! The Eternal Lost Boy!

Who: Ryoga and anyone whoever can find him.
What: Ryoga has been wandering the greenbelt Island for three weeks. Are you a bad enough dude to save Ryoga?
Where: That one Island with all the trees and meadows and stuff.
When: Tuesday
Warnings: If you tick him off, he can get a little violent, but it's generally comedic more than anything.

"Who's Akane?" a voice asked him. Nearby, a small purple monkey in a tiara hung upside down from a tree by its tail.

"WHA!?"

Ryoga jumped back a step, firewood dropped and the umbrella he always carried was pointed directly at the Monkey.

....a purple Monkey. But Monkeys didn't talk. Even purple ones.

"Who's there!?" he asked, looking around, the question seemingly forgotten.

Checkers, meanwhile, walked over to take a look at the newcomer, giving a few cursory sniffs and sitting down. It didn't smell like it was agrressive so she'd watch and see how this played out.

The monkey giggled. "A bit jumpy, aren't you? Relax, I'm a friend! You lost?"

Ryoga's umbrella lowered and he stared for a few seconds.

"...you're... a talking Monkey? That means..."

A look of realization dawned on his face.

"I must be back in China... somewhere near Jusenkyo!! Checkers, what a stroke of luck! Finally, things are goin' our way, girl!"

He turned back to the Monkey. "Don't worry - I'll make some warm water and change you back in no time!" He reached down and picked up his firewood again, unshouldering his backpack to set up a fire and kettle.

Normally, Amitie wouldn't be found in the forest, since she had other things to do in the castle, but today she felt she could see the greenery once in awhile. It sort of reminded her of home a bit, specifically the Haunted woods.

Then she noticed a strangely colored dog, "hi doggy! Are you lost?" She greeted the canine, not noticing the owner. At all.

Checkers bounded over to this newcomer, yapping happily, tongue lolling out of her mouth and saucer-wide eyes sparkling. Oh boy! Someone else to play with.

Ryoga, meanwhile, just kind of... stood there and watched her. She really had seemed to appear pretty much out of nowhere. He didn't even say anything coherrent. Just kind of... stood there going "..uuuuuuhhhh?"

Amitie thought this strangely colored dog as a really nice one, well apart from Bal and John that is. She affectionately pet the canine and praise it for being a cute, fun dog.

You know, you could just outright poke her or something to get her attention, Ryoga.

He knelt down, just watching. Checkers sure seemed to be enjoying the attention, at least.

He shifted a little so as to hopefully be in her line of sight - he'd feel rude interrupting, being these two were getting along so well. He'd just... wait for her to notice.
