Fuji TV's remaking Iron Chef. The broadcast starts this October.
I tried watching the US version of Iron Chef before, but it just didn't have the same charm. Maybe it's that 90s feel.

The one SBS broadcast was dubbed over in English, but the Japanese audio track was lowered, not muted. (For some reason; if you concentrated, you could hear some of the Japanese.) There's just this feel to the Japanese show that didn't seem to transfer over to the US version. If you have time, go watch an episode. It's quite interesting and enjoyable.
