After seeing all the warnings about "YOU MUST HAVE YOUR COVER PROFESSIONALLY DONE"...and seeing what all those giving the advice considered "good" book covers...and seeing that the professionals charge upwards of $500+ to do said cover ( Read more... )

From the back blurb, I'd buy it - it instantly sounds like not only a good story, but a *fresh* fantasy, something different from the usual Tolkein rip-off or D&D-campain-in-book form ( ... )

I think it looks great, and I will be picking up a hard copy when available! If you do swap images on the front cover, might I suggest the log where teind is paid?

Hey MD -- it won't be in hardback. I'll be going the self-publish route through Amazon's CreateSpace service, which I used in the past to print up copies of my Hardy Boys fix for my own use. They really look professionally done, too. So you'll be able to get a trade paperback-size copy from Amazon, or eBook format from Amazon or iBooks (once I figure out how iBooks does things).

Yes, that's me... :) and by hard copy I meant paper copy, not necessarily hard cover... paperback is cool.

huh. for some reason, I had to go through a huge rigamarole to be able to see your comments. That's odd. I just sent you a message over on FB that you can ignore, then.

never mind. i forgot I had "noscript" on, and I had to allow the page before it let me see things. Stupid Chrome.
