I finished off Nattys snake scarf this morning before work. I need to weave in all the loose ends (gotta figure out how to do that first) and then tie on the eye buttons and its FINISHED!!! Will post pictures soon :)    Casting on Isaacs Pink Snake scarf today!!

Also went on Etsy this morning and bought the cutest stitch markers

Ok....so December 31st is coming by pretty fast and my Yarn stash enrichment project is going a bit slow.  I do have on hold at my favorite LYS enough balls of yarn for a poncho and one ball of manos for a "yet to be determined" project.  I have a  2 balls of the Harry Potter sock yarn on its way here from the U.K and i have a bid on a lot of Lana ( Read more... )

D came home early today and I talked him into taking me to Michaels as I had a 40% off coupon that expired today. I actually printed off two.  So we went to Michaels and I picked up another pair of circular needles I will be needing soon for a project and this knitting traveler thingie

i have today off plus Monday and Tuesday off next week so its going to be a very nice long weekend for me:)   Of course it will consist mostly of cleaning but also loads of knitting and spending time with D.  I'm making him a special dinner either tonight or tomorrow as he is November's Employee of the Month at his work and he has not smoked in two ( Read more... )

I really really REALLY love the owner, Bonnie of the LYS that is close to where I work. She is so awesome and never makes me feel that I'm inconveniencing her or asking too many questions.

She helped me this afternoon pick out yarn for the brothers snake scarves.  Instead of trying to sell me some way way expensive designer wool she assisted me in ( Read more... )

So I frogged two of my scarves because they were just not making me happy at all and I've been working on a new one with this yarn I'm just in love with now and its going much better.  A few mistakes due to my obviously not being able to count past 5 or spacing off but other than that I'm very happy with how its turning out.  I have also queued up ( Read more... )

You shall be sick on your day off but still manage to buy yarn at the LYS regardless. Yes I managed to walk in to look for one book, not find the book but find two balls of yarn for my after holiday project I'm scheming up.
