I finished the Calorimetry headwarmer!!!!  Though its not perfect I love it and will wear it anyways:)  I'm casting on another one tonight for a last minute Xmas gift but this time instead of the Cascade Wool I'm using Noro Kureyon for the first time in Earth Tones:)  I even have enough of the turquoise Cascade to make myself another better one ( Read more... )

It is and this is the first AND the last time I'm using it.   I've had to rip back 4 times. .First time because I screwed up using hte circs for the first time.. Second time when I realized I wasnt knitting with the working yarn :::face palm...third time after three rows and first row of increases that I somehow had more stitches than I should have ( Read more... )

I am at the 50% mark for finishing up my second and pink snake scarf for xmas.   I watched a Vin Diesel Movie and knitted; I watched an episode of Corner Gas and knitted and I watched an episode of 90210 and knitted.   I really like watching shows that I can mostly listen too and knit ( Read more... )

Ugh! Anytime I blog about knitting something in Mohair someone please hit me.   I'm almost done with my gauge swatch and its driving me nuts.  Mostly I dont think the wood needles are working well so when I get home tonight I will knit the swatch onto my metal needles and hopefully it will go smoother ( Read more... )

I finished off Nattys snake scarf this morning before work. I need to weave in all the loose ends (gotta figure out how to do that first) and then tie on the eye buttons and its FINISHED!!! Will post pictures soon :)    Casting on Isaacs Pink Snake scarf today!!

Ok....so December 31st is coming by pretty fast and my Yarn stash enrichment project is going a bit slow.  I do have on hold at my favorite LYS enough balls of yarn for a poncho and one ball of manos for a "yet to be determined" project.  I have a  2 balls of the Harry Potter sock yarn on its way here from the U.K and i have a bid on a lot of Lana ( Read more... )
