I don't know of an alternative to LJ. Don't give it up - the journaling I mean. Even if you pop in only occasionally, at least we get to see you around! *Hgus*

Well, yes, there are a ton of blogging sites. But not of them have the feeling of community that LJ does, IMO.

However, I'll also be the first to acknowledge that I'm 1. a lazy blogger, and 2. often forgetful to check my friends' list.

But I still like it here. And you :)

If you're worried about privacy issues, DreamWidth is a safer option, and a few people have started journals there. But most people post here.
