There is good and there is bad.

Good:

• My father asked to speak to J tonight, to ask him about information on breast cancer (J used his connections in medical devices to gather some information). My father was moved, and thankful, that J had chosen to involve himself to try and help.
• My father has been looking up what questions to ask the oncologist.

Scary test results always hit hard; boy, do I know that drill. I'd give you a sympathetic hug if I could. At least there's a fair bit of good stuff to balance out the bad, though: it sounds like there's every reason to be optimistic that she's on the better end of that range. You'll be in my thoughts.
