Hee hee. Actually, the original way I cropped the thumbnail, I wasn't thinking about the talk bubble--just the arrangement of the faces--and I realized after I did it that the only visible words were "That would be my--"
Hee, oh, very nice. :D I think my favorite bit is the almost pained expression Rodney pauses to make before kissing John. (Nice pacing, by the way.) I really like that title panel, too, and the likenesses are (as always) impressive.
Thank you so much! I love your art, so your thoughtful comments mean a lot to me.
And I'm especially glad the pacing works. This was originally scripted as a one-page comic, but I ended up adding a lot of panels to the original sketch because even though the joke is simple, it felt too rushed to try to cram it into one 8.5x11 page. Especially since I apparently require at least three kiss panels. :)
I'm glad you liked it! I shipped out the originals to you this morning (three Xerox pages). Display them, recycle them, bind them in your history notebook, use them for decoupage, the possibilities are endless!

I agree about the pacing being right. As they say, "take the time to tell your own story".
