Okay, I know back in those times it was expected of women to get pregnant right quick but still; what is wrong with waiting to have children and just enjoying being married? My boyfriend and I have both agreed that if we got married we weren't going to have babies right away (okay, I have a birth defect that kind of requires that I do epic planning for any baby, but I digress). Why does it seem like all the women in these tics get pregnant like instantly. No one has fertility problems ( ... )

Why does it seem like all the women in these fics get pregnant instantly. No one has fertiltity problems?

It has to do with the fact that Suethors wish to have sex with some hot guy and have babies. They think then, this must be an awsume story, because when they imagine it, they get all excited. But not everyone... no, most people don't think this is great.

The Lurky-Murky Cooperative has three separate experiences with labor. We are proud to say that the lady didn't kill anyone or scream, and only swore at a PG level, despite her lack of anesthesia.

However, we declare this labor story to be organic fertilizer. It is not that quick. It is not that easy. It is not that tidy. It is scary at times.

And it is amazing.

As for your question Zelda Queen, men at a birthing was concidered bad luck unless a midwife wasn't available and they had to deliver the baby themselves. They were made to stand outside the room.

As for this not being how they talk in Narnia, this isn't how they talked sixty years ago.

ZeldaQueen: IS THERE GOING TO BE A PLOT AT ANY POINT IN THIS THING?

Only against the audience.

"Then, as if she could somehow sense that he had come into the room..."

Because the midwife had just greeted him and then everyone had left, which she must've freaking noticed!!

Also... Really? That's all you're gonna write for giving birth? One of the most important memories for most women with children? Two flipping pushes and the baby just pops out all perfect? Seriously?

Dammit, I hate this person.

You making the people talk about how much they hate her every other line is hilarious, though. Good sporking!
