Zoey can be mean to Kayla because Kayla is shallow pot smoker, unlike our illustrious Zoey. And expressing any sexual desire, wearing tank tops that expose your cleavage, make-up, or straightening your hair is just being a shallow ho. Zoey is obviously so much better than those inferior girls who want to dress nicely and kiss boys. I really hate how girls who like to dress up and have fun are depicted as shallow sluts. I don't like dressing up myself, but girls who do that aren't inferior to girls who stay at home and read. What would have been interesting would be an exploration of men being victims. Aphrodite was attempting to rape him. But I should obviously look elsewhere for that. And just think, you only have five more chapters to go. But then you have twelve books, and they get progressively worse. Thanks for the sporking, and good luck.

Not only that, but she treats the one flawed thing that a person does as worthy of dismissing them entirely as Bad People. Never mind that Heath and Kayla tried to save her after she abused and ignored them, they smoked pot and got drunk! Never mind that Elliot is probably exhausted from blood loss, he's ugly and annoys Zoey! Never mind that Erik clearly was made miserable by Aphrodite, he used to date her, didn't he

Given how this book has been going, it's more like the smoochies are occasionally put on hold for a little bit of plot. -_-

Hypocrisy well exposed. I know this comment applies to almost every chapter, and is about to come up even more, but why is Zoey so secretive to her "friends"?

Because she's a Mary Sue from the vein of Bella Swan? I have no idea. There's being secretive for good reason and being secretive for plot convenience, and this is all the latter.

I just cannot believe how judgmental Zoey is. It doesn't matter who the person is, she'll find some way to nastily comment about them. Like poor Erik here
