If I wanted a rehash, I would just rewatch the freaking movie.

Dear god, first Bootstrap and now Will? What the hell suthor? (I am not writing out her name, you have no idea how long it takes me to actually get it right) Sure, Will may have been a bit sheltered, but he wasn't a freaking idiot. Leave him alone! He, too, saved your pwecious Jack's ass several times and sacrificed EVERYTHING at the end of the third movie. Again, your Sue should be acting half decent towards him.

I terribly fear for Elizabeth. I actually liked her. I like strong female characters, we need more of them.

Normally, I wouldn't bash someone if they were doing an APOV, especially if it was an experiment, if they outwardly said 'This is an experiment/I am testing this style out' because everyone is allowed to experiment. But this suthor? No dice. I highly doubt that she actually takes the criticism and uses it to her advantage. Not that she learns, heck, how many series has she ruined herself because she made the same mistake of taking out all of her

Yeah, normally I'd cut her slack on the POV thing as well. It's pretty firmly established that the suethor has no tolerance for something known as "constructive criticism" though.

I'd like to know why he's so certain Davy Jones would accept Kate. It seemed to me that Davy Jones wanted Jack's soul, that the hundred souls thing wasn't serious because there was absolutely no way he could find a hundred people in that time period. And honestly, what would he do with Kate? What can she do that would make him as valuable as Jack?
(I know, she's a sue, which makes her more valuble than anyone and anything, but I mean in canon, what would he want with her?)

Not only that, but I got the feeling that Davy wanted Jack's soul just so he could say "Hey, I beat the infamous Jack Sparrow!" But yeah, Kate has, thus far...held a pistol/sword to someone's throat, and that's it. No signs she's the list bit good at running a ship. So why would he want her?

And I suspect I know the in-fic reason. -_- Not looking forward to it.

Also, Jack Sparrow is a pretty unique guy. A better writer would have captured his inner voice. I always got the impression that Jack has been drunk off his arse since the first movie. That, mixed with his eccentric thought process and cleverness....Gethbitch, as always, you fail xP

Eh, it's not as terrible as it could have been. I'm wondering if this was written before AWE, when we find out who Tia Dalma actually is.

Exactly. I never got the feeling that he was constantly calculating every single line. In his conversation with Will here, for example, my impression was that his thought process was "Okay, gotta see Tia Dalma, this dude's annoying me, hmm, he could work to help with this plan, I'll sucker him into it".

Oh, good. If it was written post-AWE, Kate's first incarnation would have been a mermaid that Tia killed out of jealousy when Davey lusted over the Sue instead of her xP

If I didn't know better, I would have thought I had stumbled into a slash fic. Or not, since Jack is pretty much indistinguishable from a teenage girl, as written. Somehow, I don't think any of that is what the Suethor was going for.

No, she was probably going for "Will is a wimp and Jack is That Much Better". Will, after all, seems to be to this fic what Anthony Hope was to her Sweeney Todd series.
