Congrats hon. Now the only Bree Tanner post missing that I follow is the Dan one.

Andd Meyer should consider coming up with a story that doesn't involve fighting because even when you have a character in the middle of a war she is not in the middle of a war. So pointless! If she hates fighting so much, don't write war conflicts.

Which makes me wonder if The host has any fighting since it is a war between two species.

Thanks! I don't think I'll miss her.

I know, right? Meyer notoriously said that she never liked gross or violent movies, which makes one really wonder...

I'll admit I do miss making fun of this book. Between gay-Diego, stupid Bree and awesome Freddie I was gigglying too much. I can't hate things that make me laugh. If only the host made me laugh... I think I need to find a lulzy book to pick me up or something for when The host bores me to tears.

I don't know if I believe her. Demon spawn birth came out of a horror movie. Still, her books need to develop other types of conflict that doesn't involve battles. And not in a BD kind of way! That was stupid!

Ok, now I'm wondering if that's a yes or a no. Don't tell me! XD

"And not in a BD kind of way! That was stupid!"

That and it was just more of her OH I USED SHAKESPEARE, I'M SO SMART!!! She seriously pretty much just copied the twist ending to The Merchant of Venice for it. I didn't mention it in the sporking because I wasn't familiar with TMOV at the time, but there you have it. The difference was that that play had to do with laws and legal loopholes and working around an impartial judge, and she set hers to be bloody and fighting with a biased judge.

Well done for finishing the sporking. I honestly don't have much to say that hasn't already been said; Meyer is shit at making likeable characters, the Cullens are cowardly dicks, Bree is dumb, this dosen't fit into canon at all, etc. etc.
I am not sorry that Bree died at all, and seriously, what did this add into canon at all? We didn't get the newborn experience, we didn't get much in the way of direction, there wasn't much in the way of group dynamics other than everyone but Bree, Fred and Diego are rippy happy idiots *well, at least they have a common characteristic*, we didn't get to see the fight from another perspective (that was one short fight). We get nothing interesting, and what we do have (the Volturi and Fred) is never mentioned again by the Cullens, so that wen't nowhere.

I know. This really makes the case that an author can just produce original fanfiction, because that's all this reads like. And not even GOOD fanfiction!

FINALLY.

*smites them all*

That was...dull. And pointless. And boring. Meyer, you don't need the money and you don't have the creativity for this.

She probably was just trying to get more attention. Her flounce over Midnight Sun was dying down, after all. x(

Ms. Meyer, you may think that the Cullens are wonderful and perfect and can do no wrong, but not everybody thinks the same. And I really doubt that Bree, suffering bloodlust, stress, and pain, would think that the Cullens were wonderful, especially when they do nothing but *prolong* her stress and pain! Jasper is threatening her, Carlisle and Esme are patronizing towards her, and the rest of the Cullens are no help at all. Bree has no reason to think kindly of them.

My goodness, this novella was pointless.

This novella is like a fanfiction rewrite of New Moon that tried to be darker and edgier. And one where the author got bored halfway through.

Yippy she's dead! And Fred lives to; God willing, never appear in another Meyer shit piece a "literature" ever again!

What a completely meaningless story! I think a small part of me has died on the inside simply because I exist in a world that allowed some to be capable of writing and publishing a story like this only for it to sell well and not become a flop.

I'd call her a hack, but that's not fair to hacks.

It's like Mervin said, this reads almost exactly like FANFICTION of Twilight. Meyer can't even keep her own continuity straight! I don't even think "The Legend of Rah and the Muggles" was that bad on continuity!

Bah.

This will be the greatest mystery ever in my mind.
Is there a God? Is Love truly a powerful force? Do aliens exist? What comes after you die? Bah no how the hell this crap sells!
I mean she's gotten to the point where she's writing fanfics for her own work to publish and still... I think... I need to lay down...
You know what I bet this was a fanfic. One very like minded fan showed her and she took for herself... I wouldn't be surprised since the title sounds like a fanfic title anyway and some of her fans act like she can do no wrong anyway. The fan is most likely weeping with joy that Meyer loves her so much she would steal from her!
