Fiction Notes: The fourth novel in Stephenie Meyer's vampire series. Main characters are noted for being in a rather abusive relationship as well as being unhealthily co-dependent of each other and horrendous Mary Sues/Gary Stus. Is often used as a guilty pleasure. For sporkings of the previous novels, see here, here, here, here, and here.

You know, I was always pretty sure 'saga' referred to a series of just three books, which made me really curious as to why the Twilight series was considered a saga. So I looked it up at dictionary.com and came up with this;

Also called saga novel. A form of the novel in which the members or generations of a family or social group are chronicled in a long and leisurely narrative.

But then just above that it also says;

Any narrative or legend of heroic exploits.

Ha! XD And I'm sure Meyer and the fans don't know that. I'd bet good money that the word "saga" was only slapped on at the end because it sounded grand and made the series sound more like the classics.

If they do know it, I would feel very worried for their mental health. Especially for fans of the Hush Hush saga. t-t

Most definitely! I mean, who cares about authenticity when it sounds interesting, right? /sarcasm

There's something weird about the link to number 16. It highlights like a link, but it doesn't function like a link.

When I click it, it leads to "The Gang" chapter one, not Breaking Dawn chapter 16. Just might be me though.
