I would say that this entire chapter was stupid, but I would just be saying what you and I and everyone else here has been saying for this entire spork. I managed to hold up untill the 'Something wiked this way comes' at which point I had to gag myself with a spoon.
Also: Something Harry had done or not done in this new timeline had unsettled something. Voldemort was surely dead, but a new form of evil had just firmly announced itself. How can DW actually write all of this seriously? Are they not chortling at some grand joke they have set up to fool us all? Dude, this hypocrisy cannot be real.
Anyway, congratulations on completing the spork! This was a tough one, so all kudos to you.
To be very, *very* fair, this fic was technically abandoned so it could have been that Harry was being set up as the next Dark Lord. I find it very hard to buy though.

I do have to give Disobedience Writer some credit for actually trying to throw some obstacles in Harry's way, although he/she doesn't realize the difference between a brick wall and a speed bump.
The idea of Harry toppling Voldemort early, only to realize he's caused something even worse to rise in Voldemort's place would be interesting, but Disobedience is far too interested in Harry lamenting about how corrupt everyone is, effortlessly does whatever he wants, and smugly noting how pathetic everyone's defenses are as he kidnaps, mind rapes, or otherwise violates their privacy and basic human rights,
And now for a minor nit-pick (emphasis added): far better than History with the young, dreadfully boring Binns. Cuthbert Binns Born: c. 16th century or 17th century Died: c. 18th century (most likely), Staffroom, Hogwarts Castle Time to look this up: 7 seconds (approximately) So unless Septimus is over 300 years old, Binns wasn't young when he was he was at Hogwarts.
