Rachel from Animorphs. Violent, possibly crazy and bloodthirsty, but loyal and brave. And she did sacrifice herself to save the Earth from brain stealing slugs. And, falling in love with a biy trapped in a hawk body was a much better romance then this tripe. Helped that Tobais wasnt an asshat.
