[...Maybe this was a really bad, really vivid dream.] Pinch me.
Don't blame me if it doesn't work. [reaches over to pinch Sheik's cheek]
Ow! [too hard, man; slaps his hand away]
Okay, forget that. [He's scanning the seemingly empty town square, frowning as he tries to sort out this incredulous situation.] Think there's anyone here that can point

[The snow was...a little problematic at first - forced Sheik to adjust his timing and traction, made his fingers stiff from the cold. As long as they didn't have to stay outside too long, they would be fine.]
[Part of him knew that this arcahic-looking town was real; he could feel every stone wall under his grip, every wooden rooftop his feet dashed across. Still... a part of him couldn't believe it. Would they be able to find other people here? Would they be dreaming-but-not, just like him and Link?]

[What was with the outfit though? Beggars couldn't be choosers... As long as he could find someone to help him out, the young man wouldn't take appearances into account.]

[automatically taking a step back, it takes him a couple of moments before he realizes that... hey, was that a fairy? Walking over to check up on you now]
Um... Sorry 'bout that, are you okay? [kneels down to brush some snow off the pile to make it easier for Navi to fly out]

Ack that's COLD and it's in my hair stupid snow is worse than stupid sand and...
[Finally realizing she is not the only one there, she stops shaking midway through rubbing her hair to look up at Link.]
Oh uh, did you see that? I usually don't run into things, honest! Pleasedon'ttellanyone. [Sudden epiphany!] Wait, that was you! Are you okay? Um...
[She takes in his outfit and face and ventures a guess.] Link?

[Once the other man is in sight, Sheik lifts his face up to watch him.] Any luck?

Nothing. It's definitely a different place... [a cough before he wraps his arms around himself] C'mon, let's head inside before we freeze.

[He takes a few steps through the snow before pausing and turning back to look at Link.] Do you want to borrow my sweater?

[Beyond their clothing, other aspects of their appearance were strange. One of the young men bore a striking resemblance to the hero, Link...and the other looked like the Sheikah herself.]
[The icy slickness of the roof causes Sheik's footing to momentarily slip, and while she doesn't lose her balance, a nearby lump of snow on the other hand, falls, hitting the ground with a somewhat-muted thud. She frowns. Well, that was certainly a way to draw unwanted attention to one's self.]
