[The Hero of Winds was minding his own business on the far side of Lon Lon Ranch, bottling a recently-captured Poe. He was carefully nudging a cork in to trap the hateful spirit when he heard:]

'Hey!'

[He picked his head up and looked around wildly. That voice... he hadn't heard that voice in ages.]

'You! What do you think you're doing?'

[The brusqueness made him jump slightly as he automatically fumbled to get a hold of the Gossip Stone Charm. When he pulled it out he noticed that it wasn't shining as it usually did when someone used it to speak with him- but maybe this was a special circumstance.]

[Tentatively he held the rock up and spoke to it.] Tetra..?

[Was it true, was Tetra really in Hyrule?]

[The stone started to focus and she could barely make out Link...somewhere. It didn't look like any island she could remember. Anyway, the quality of the picture wasn't helping.]

What did you expect, that talking boat? Of course it's me.

[Tetra grinned - at least they were both in this strange place together, assuming Link wasn't terribly far away.]

[Actually, he had been expecting the talking boat.]

[But then the shock - and relief - come. Link grinned down into the messenger rock. Tetra was all right!]

When did you get here? [He asked, almost tripping over himself vocally.] W-where are you?

[OOC: Orz, sorry for the slow, slow reply. T_T ]

Just now. [Tetra took a good look around the area, trying to figure out how to explain it.]

You remember Windfall Island, right? Good. It's kind of like that, but more deserted and more built-up.

[Now this is a surprising person to come across. The last time he had seen this girl, she had been firing Light Arrows at him and wearing the dress of royalty. The girl's back is to him, and she seems to be preoccupied with talking to herself, or maybe something in her hand. It gives Ganondorf time to recover from the surprise of seeing her. How many Zeldas did this make?]

[Did he have a use for this girl? It feels strange not to reach out and nab her after looking for her for so long on the Great Sea.... After scratching his chin thoughtfully for a moment, Ganon reaches out and grips her by the back of her vest, then lifts her up to his eye level. His eyes narrow.]

Princess Zelda.

[The pirate was not at all pleased at suddenly being lifted off her feet by whoever-he-is. The height thing was an issue. Surely there was magic somewhere that could make her stronger. That was besides the point, because, naturally she was kicking and flailing about as to be put down.]

Just who do you think you are, old man?

[Princess who? Huh. Well that was a new one. Yet, this guy seemed vaguely familiar. Like someone Link might've run into? Looking for his sister or something? Ooh if he was the one with the bird she was going to be pretty angry - being attacked like that out of no where. In fact, it seemed as if he was the one who had gotten Link thrown across the Great Sea. Well, good. She had a word or two for him.]

Unhand me, fiend! And learn to recognize a person. I don't know any Zelda.

[old_man_ganon]

I am Ganondorf. You know me as the Master of Forbidden Fortress.

[He ignores her struggles. She obviously hadn't gotten that far in the story. What use can she be to him, this Princess Zelda who knew not who she was?]

And you are that little pirate girl, whose only dreams are of an ocean so vast no one could ever swim across it.

[Still struggling, because she is set on getting down. She really doesn't care who he is, and the stab at her height was not at all welcome.]

Good thing I'm not swimmin', then.
