[Surprisingly, the door to Sheik's room in Hyrule Castle was left unlocked and slightly ajar. More surprising still, the room was empty.]

[Any trace of the ill Sheikah's presence had all but vanished. The bedroom held none of his belongings - no clothing, no weapons, no Mask of Truth... no harp.]

[Only one item remained: a pearl-colored cuff

[Sheik sits on the windowsill, where he had once crouched and prepared to attack this imposter...someone who has seemingly vanished, perhaps dead. He only knew him briefly...can someone known so briefly be truly mourned? There is regret, at least, that he did not know this other Sheik better, the one who was somehow free of the shadow.]

Would that I could be your soul guide, brother.

[He makes a brief gesture, putting both hands over his eyes and then opening his palms outward.]
