[Lookin' around frantically, he finds no water. No sounds of the Fire Brigade approaching, neither. Havin' nothing else on hand, he douse her with all the water in his canteen an' pray for rain.]

[That's one very disgruntled Oracle on the ground there, soaked hair flat against her head, sodden pink dress clinging to her skin. She spits hair out of her mouth and wipes her eyes, then looks up at her "rescuer" with a beady red eye. Ah, yes, she vaguely remembers him -- they met on her first arrival here.]
It's Jake, right? What...exactly...are you trying to accomplish?

[Din gets to her feet and finger-combs her wet hair for a moment.]
I wasn't ablaze...I was the blaze. It's not your imagination; it's just a spell. Something I had to do, that's all.
[Not giving up that secret. But she understands, now, that he meant well, so she allows Jake a smile.]
