Loss...

[The sacred forest meadow deep within the lost woods holds no music as it usually does. There is an eerie silence prevailing the air as the fireflies and woodland creatures go about their usual routines.

In the centre of the meadow, Saria is standing, her green garb a splash of colour against the grey and white stone platform.]"This looks like ( Read more... )

[The girl in green jumps a little at the surprising voice, turning to face him with a wide eyed look of curiosity. There is something very familiar about this being...] D-do you know where I am? [She asked, slightly unsure of herself. After all, she knew where she was. It was the lost woods... Wasn't it?]

(ooc; Meep thank you so much. This place looks very organised for a dressing room, you do a good job. I do have a question actually but it's not zelda related. XP Do I know ou from Jigoku at all? I remember seeing your icon there. I know you don't play Fierce Deity but... Someone else?)

... There are no Kokiri... [She questions and states at the same time. Her eyes drift skyward for a moment before she settles them back on the figure.] And m-my fairy is gone... I've lost my fairy. [For some reason, she can't hold it together in front of this man. She is afraid and doing a bad job at hiding it.]

(ooc; Doh! It's you! =D I'm Seth player. X) Hi again. *clings with love to all of your sexy jerks* I thought I would practice Saria here a little before I app her at Jigoku! @_@ Providing Jigoku survives of course.)

This is your home?

[A young man is behind her, having come from exploring the strange village of tree houses. He didn't like it in the forest. It is too murky and humid under the oppressive branches, and he is in a terrible mood. The girl is the first person he has seen in days, so congratulations -- she gets to hear him complain:]

Enough water to drink and to spare. Enough to eat and to spare. Weather mild with gentle winds. The people living here must have been coddled and spoiled like children.

[ooc: Sorry for not getting to this earlier -- I wanted to tag, but I had to work instead. :<]

[The girl turns with a shocked expression. There are tears in her eyes, which she wipes away hastily.]

Forgive me, I didn't hear you approach. [She lets out a sigh before giving the young man a smile, pushing down her initial fear for the time being.] Your assumption is almost right actually. The people who live here are children. Children of the forest.

(ooc; I am so pleased for your comment! ^0^ Hope your work wasn't too hard.)

[His expression sours even more at the sight of her tears -- crying is for little babies and weak people.]

They were all children? What is that supposed to mean?

[ooc: It was fun! And I love Saria~]

... 'Were?' [She asks, raising en eyebrow.] so it's true then? Everyone is... Gone? You didn't see any other children in the forest at all?

(ooc; Good! Work should be fun! And thank you ;_; I am very nervous playing her. Your Ganon is lovely <3!)

[The Wood is quiet, deep, secret, everything it should and must be, everything that makes Link feel at home. He is wandering them again, spending his days seeking wisdom among these trees.]

[He emerges into the sacred meadow, and there he sees a familiar figure in green, so sudden and unexpected that he freezes in his tracks. It can't be, but...]

Saria?

[At the sound of that voice Saria lifted her head, gasping in shock as relief at seeing her friend overtook her. She didn't care that he was big, that he looked different. She could ask about that later, what mattered was that he was here, in front of her, and she wasn't alone any more.]

Link! [She exclaimed, running over to him and throwing her arms around his legs, hugging them tightly. At that moment, she felt tears in her eyes, she was so happy to see him.] Link I was so scared!

Saria...

[He can hardly believe it, but it really is her. He gently disengages her arms from his legs, so that he can kneel and speak with her eye-to-eye.] What were you scared of, Saria? Are you all right?
