[There is a stone statue in the deserted garden of Hyrule Castle. It is a depiction of a large man kneeling with an expression of exquisite pain and embarrassment on his face. There is a sword in the man's forehead that is not made of stone, almost as if the sword doesn't belong.]

[Back around front, she crosses her arms and gives him a long, considering stare before breaking into a smirk. Then she's bent down and taken hold of the statue's waist, hoisting him up onto one shoulder and turning to tromp with him out of the garden. A walk would do him good anyway.]

[This. Is. Not. Acceptable.]
[The feeling of powerlessness increases, choking him a bit. If only he could move, then he might have a chance of wrestling the goddess... but like this? He hasn't been carried since he was a small child -- seeing the horizon bob, out of his control, makes him want to destroy the entire universe, he feels so much rage. Ganondorf can't help his urge to threaten her.]
I am going to kill you, goddess or not.

"...What ...the ...heck?!"
[He approaches, stretching up on tiptoe. *Poke?* Stone... *poke-poke* Stone Chubbydorf... with a-- is that a replica, or the real Master Sword? He stretches further to just barely touch it, and immediately feels its power surge under his hand, eerily similar to the magical sword he always carries. Yep! It's real! A REAL Master Sword, stuck in this thing's head! Damned if he knows why, though...]

If you pull it out, you'll soon learn why it's there.

[He goes back and continues to examine the overall piece, poking and prodding playfully at the strange statue's forehead, listening out for further comments and idly hoping he can make it topple over. ( ... )

[The stone Ganondorf observes but doesn't reply. He knows better than to broadcast his untenable position to a King of Evil. Only a matter of seconds before the other man's powers reveal the truth, at any rate. Why hurry?]

He stood in silence, examining the statue for a very short time - by now he had learned enough about this place to take guesses at its nature, with or without his sorcery. Curiosity reached out to him, daring him to sate it at the cost of extreme pain.
He reached up with one hand and grasped at the hilt of the Master Sword. His expression did not change as the hilt burned through the leather and steel in his glove, but he winced as his hand burst into flames. The sound of his own flesh cracking and peeling and smoking was loud enough to be heard from very, very far away. Still, he began to pull, and to someone who looked closely enough, the sword began to move.

As soon as the blade was removed, Ganondorf transmuted from stone to flesh. Vaguely embarrassed at being on his knees, he smoothly stood up and sheathed one of his swords. He held the other in his hand and gave his liberator a suspicious sneer.
"Ah... another doppelganger. What do you want?"
