Just a workin' gal

[Taxes, bills, forms, numbers higher than Cremia has ever wanted to count. The upkeep for the Ranch is becoming difficult for the redheaded woman in recent times. Vandals have been sneaking into the ranch to break bottles and spook the cows, and Cremia is almost certain beyond a doubt that those damn Gorman brothers are behind it in one way or ( Read more... )

[Ever since her arrival in Hyrule, Anju had taken to wandering around during daytime a little to familiarize herself with the area - usually just from Castle Town to Kakariko Village, but sometimes she'd take a small detour to Lake Hylia or the ranch. Today, she's found herself on the way to the ranch once more - something about it just seemed familiar. Perhaps it just reminded her of a certain ranch back at home.]

[Today, however, she can't help but to notice a familiar person near the ranch. It couldn't be... could it? She approaches the person carefully, in case this place is merely playing tricks on her, or she turns out to simply be someone who looks like who she thinks this is. Anything could happen here, after all.]

Cremia...? You're here, too? [She really hopes she's not just imagining things. After all, she'd been hoping to find her here sooner or later!]

[ooc: ...note to self: get this done earlier next time. I fail at replying to things asdgf]

[Cremia looks up suddenly at the voice, thinking she's fallen asleep so long that she didn't even hear Anju coming over to visit, before it even re-registers in her mind that she wasn't at her ranch anymore. Trying to appear like she hadn't just been sleeping lazily in a field, she quickly pushes herself to her feet and dusts herself off. Once she's sweeped all the little bits of grass and dust from her dress, she straightens out her hair a little and smiles at Anju pleasantly.]

Anju! What brings you out here?

[She rubs the back of her head sheepishly, taking another look around]

I guess this is what happens when I don't listen to my sister about going to bed on time. First time I've ever sleepwalked that I remember, though.

[She's satisfied enough with her own explanation, mostly just happy her friend had found time to visit. With preparations for the festival, she was sure they'd both be far too busy to get together so soon, not to mention with the wedding... Her face momentarily faltered at the thought, but she kept smiling.]

[Anju can't help but to return the smile. She hadn't expected to see anyone else from Termina anytime soon, let alone Cremia. Seeing her was certainly a pleasant surprise, however, considering her original plan before arriving here was to visit her.]

Ah, I was just on my way to the ranch... [She gestures towards the building near them.]

You never seemed like the sleepwalking type to me, Cremia. [She smiles softly.] You overworked yourself again, didn't you? You really need to be more careful about that...

[She kind of wants to ask if Cremia just arrived here, or if she's been in Hyrule for a while now, but decides not to for now. She'll probably find out sooner or later, and she'd rather not make her friend worry about the situation if it can be avoided for the time being, should the former be the case.]

[Cremia's grin softens at the half-hearted chiding, pushing aside any worries about the ranch's future aside for the time being. She looks over at the other 'ranch', and thinks briefly that it's Romani Ranch. This makes her relax a little; at least she isn't too far from something familiar.]

Ah, I guess you're right. It's tough work taking care of things around here, but things should settle down after the festival, so a little overtime won't kill me.

[Cremia smiles and walks over, putting her hands on her hips.]

Speaking of which, you guys must be pretty busy over at the inn, huh? And with your wedding coming up...

[The redhead's face softens a little more, eyes drifting away from Anju as she scans their surroundings some more, up at the sky in particular. It's daytime, though, so the moon isn't even visible.]

..... So where is the lucky groom-to-be? Busy with the festival preparations? Womanizing?
