[A throwing knife neatly severs the Stalchild's arm at the elbow, letting Khalil drop back down headfirst, oops. There's a dart of movement as Sheik moves to retrieve it, kicking at one even as his fingers close around the hilt and he slashes at another.]

[With a moment cleared, he drops to Khalil's side and offers him a hand.]

Are you alright?

((OOC: ...Hi back ^_^))

[Khalil curses again after being dropped - he tries to curse, at least, but all that comes up is a cough and sputtered blood. The wounded Stalchild is able cry out louder than him. He's doubled over, one arm clutching at his side (more red staining a sweater that was once white). He thinks one of the Stalchild's claws is still embedded in his leg, but he isn't too sure. He isn't sure of a lot of things right now.

Sheik gets a look of pained disbelief. What's he supposed to say to that? Of course he isn't alright! And of course, Sheik is asking out of concern, but Khalil's mindset is on the pain, both current and future if he doesn't take down the giant monster looming over them.]

[Okay, stupid question.]

[An overhanded slash as a hand swings (horribly fast) in their direction, and Sheik yelps as he feels claws rake across his arm, but there isn't time for that. With his other hand, he drags the flute from his pouch, grabbing on to one of Khalil's wrists.]

Hold on!

[And he plays the first thing that comes to mind - the Serenade of Water.]

[That's... the Serenade of Water, isn't it? Another old song from old stories of his childhood. But then that means Sheik's trying to teleport to Lake Hylia.

Khalil's eyes widen as the song's last notes are played, realizing something. Cyril's still in Castle Town. For a moment, the pain is forgotten.]

Wait-!

[Light surrounds them, whisking them away from danger... and away from his friend. It's too late.

Going back to the inn covered in blood would've been bad (if he could even make it there, part of him thinks); Cyril would've freaked out. He'd do the same, probably, if he woke up the next morning and Khalil was nowhere to be seen. The Sheikah didn't know which was worse.]
