Haha, well, here's a banner-making tutorial. It's a few years old and there have probably been other tutorials since then (I plan on doing one of my own someday haha) but this is the one I know. XD I'm pretty lazy so I don't have a lot of textures, but I find that grunge and swirls do a pretty good job of making the background look nice. And the kind of layout I prefer is the one in these banners - namely, "(username) won / (placement) / for Week (#): (theme) @ zelda_awards". Of course, different people lay things out differently.
Anyway, hopefully that was a tiny bit helpful... so if you still want to make banners after reading all that, Week 151 is open... and if not, well, that's fine (really!), at least you know something about the process now. XDD Let me know if you want to volunteer. :)
Oh, cool. XD All you have to do with them is upload them to somewhere like your Photobucket account or Tinypic and then make a new post in the community - make sure to put them behind a cut. I'll give you posting access as soon as I post this comment. :) Also, make sure they're 300x100 since it's annoying to have different-sized banners from the same community. Finally, ozette doesn't want a banner so yeah you only have to make four.
There's no rush or time limit, so just put them up whenever you're ready. Thanks a lot!
