I was out shopping with my youngest sister and we stopped by the GameStop. I looked at their release date book to see when the next Legend of Zelda (Skyward Sword in this case) was scheduled for release, thinking maybe I should reserve a copy. The book said the dates provided were when the games were shipped out, but availability in the store was

I when remember my brother preordered Twilight Princess, the release date kept getting delayed so he ended up waiting one or two more years for it. :O

Indeed! It'll be a long wait, though.

It was originally going to be one of their big holiday season releases, but then it got pushed back and they decided to bundle it with the Wii Motion Plus.
