ZeldaQueen: Alright everyone, have champagne and chocolate at hand! This is a chapter for celebration! Not only is it exactly halfway through this trainwreck of a fic, but it's also that chapter. You know, the harlequin tentacle sex one that we've all been waiting for. You all ready? Let's goooo!

Chapter 15
Katherine
ZeldaQueen: \~/
Night, thick as black velvet, had fallen again with a deathly silence,
ZeldaQueen: You know, if that keeps falling, you really ought to set it someplace more secure
a silence that heralded an approaching tempest. I had been awake for sometime, yet Jack still slept at my side, his soft snoring the only sound. I had dressed into a black nightgown with a black robe, and I now stood at the window, looking out over the dead ocean;
ZeldaQueen: Yes, dead. You know, because it no longer has its goddess to take care of it.
Keep this in mind for later, ladies and gentlemen
not even the waves dared to lap gently at the ship. In the distance, I could see an ominous blackness, blacker than even the starless night.
ZeldaQuen: Gethesemane's like the Rolling Stones, in that she sees a fandom and she wants to paint it black
The storm would soon be here.
I turned towards the door; I had to tell him. I had to go to him and tell him what I knew. It would anger him, surely, yet I had no choice. I could never keep a secret from him. I could never keep such a dark secret from Davy Jones.
ZeldaQueen: (Kate) "I'm actually a man!"
I slipped silently out of the cabin, closing the door behind me; all the crew were asleep, for I could hear rather loud snoring coming from further down the dark corridor. I hurried to the stairs leading up to the main deck, my only light being the lanterns that hung from various entrances and the helm. We were moored on a dark beach, with the Dutchman a short distance away.
ZeldaQueen: Oh, how utterly convenient
It was moored in the shallows; I had to hurry. I had no way of knowing whether or not Jones would decide to dive once morning came. I couldn't stop now.
ZeldaQueen: *sings* Can't stop now, c'mon, c'mon, I just can't stop, just can't stop!
I scaled down the hull of the Pearl, hurried towards the shallows, and finally came to the hull of the haunted ship. I scaled this hull as well, and finally set foot on the deck. I looked about; there was no one on deck, not even a watchman at the helm.
ZeldaQueen: ...Um, Gethesemane? Just because you parked the ships in "the shallows" doesn't mean they can be waded across. The water's still got to be pretty damn deep for ships to remain afloat in. I guess you could argue that Kate swam, but in a nightgown? Seriously?
"What are you doing here?" demanded a gruff voice from behind.
ZeldaQueen: "Surprise!" called the gruff voice as he - okay, I'm stopping right there
Turning, I gasped and found the first mate Maccus, half man and half hammerhead shark, standing behind me, looking at me rather sternly.
ZeldaQueen: Given how the people of Jones' crew were either gleefully malicious or really pissed about finding people sneaking around on the ship, I'd say "rather sternly" is an understatement
"I need to speak with the Captain," I said. "It's urgent."
He quirked a "brow," but nodded. "He's in his cabin."
ZeldaQueen: (Marcus) "Just be sure to put matresses along the walls, so we don't have to hear you thumping around in there"
"Thank you."
I hurried from the first mate and down the stairs to the captain's cabin. I gently knocked on the door; I heard no stirring, but a familiar voice answered.
"Yes?"
ZeldaQueen: It's the viper. The vindow viper
"Jones? It's Katherine. I need to talk to you."
"Come in."
ZeldaQueen: Oh, she'll be coming in alright *feels dirty*
I entered as he bade,
ZeldaQueen: GETHESEMANE, WRITE LIKE A NORMAL PERSON
and then shut the door behind me. He seemed surprised and sorrowful to see me, yet rose from the organ bench all the same, crossing the room to me. I felt my heart beginning to raise as he neared.
ZeldaQueen: Wait raise? Did it start to pop out of her mouth or something? Oh I do hope that's what it was!
"What's wrong?" he asked, his voice slightly dark.
"I...I overheard my uncle, Captain Barbossa, yelling at someone in his cabin," I answered, my voice barely above a whisper. "He called her Calypso."
ZeldaQueen: (Kate) "He said something about killing a Sue to restore canon!" \~/
Jones didn't even dare to move. He stared at me, a mixture of hurt and anger written on his face.
ZeldaQueen: And that made me feel angry
He didn't lash out at me, nor did he even reach out to touch me.
ZeldaQueen: *turns green* But he's going to. Dear lord, he is
"Why was he yelling at her?" he asked, swallowing hard.
"He said that I was not part of their bargain," I replied. "Calypso brought him back from the dead so that he could convince the Brethren to release her...so that she could kill me."
ZeldaQueen: Um, no. Calypso brought Barbossa back so that he could lead the crew to bring Jack back from World's End, so that the nine pirate lords would be able to free her. Yes, she was hoping that Barbossa would do it, but he didn't know that she had any alternate plans. He thought that she'd do what he wanted out of gratitude, not knowing that you can't control the sea, which is what Calypso is! I still don't know why Tia Dalma keeps yammering about how she's going to be killing Kate when she brought back Kate's uncle! \~/
"Kill you? Why?"
"Because she knows about me. She knows that Sirena is inside my body. She kept saying that her fight was with Sirena, not my uncle."
ZeldaQueen: In other words, Tia Dalma knows that Kate's a Sue housing a bigger Sue and wants to rid the fic of both. Good for her! \~/
He turned round, his back to me; he was silent and solemn for an unknown length of time, before he asked, "Does Sparrow know?"
"No. He doesn't. I haven't told him about her."
ZeldaQueen: Because, you know, that might require him learning that his dear wife has certain feelings for his most hated enemy and he might be cross with her, and we can't have that, can we?
He turned to face me again. "It's not safe for you aboard the Pearl as long as she's on board."
ZeldaQueen: Great. Throw Kate overboard and all will be well
"My uncle threw her in the brig."
Jones laughed, as if finding the fact that my uncle had had her imprisoned was somehow humorous.
ZeldaQueen: Oh, really? I never would have guessed that he found it funny, judging by the fact that he laughed!
"Believe me, lass," he said when he regained himself, "no bars can hold that wench."
"But she's a human!"
"She's in human form," he countered. "She still has a few powers left in her arsenal, and I know that she'll use them."
ZeldaQueen: Um, how doe that work? Human form is still human! That was the point! That was why Calypso was so angry! She was forcibly cut off from the sea, her powers, and her status as a goddess! And how does being human randomly shut off some powers but not others?
And if you guessed that she only kept powers convenient to the plot, go ahead and congratulate yourself with a drink \~/
"Then what am I supposed to do?" I asked. "I can't stay here. Beckett knows too much already; he'll tell Jack.
ZeldaQueen: Wasn't there some plot about saving pirates from Beckett at some point here?
If I go back aboard my own ship, my life is in danger."
ZeldaQueen: *swells with fury* IT'S NOT YOUR SHIP, YOU IDIOT!
I sat down on his bed, frustrated. "I don't know where to go."
ZeldaQueen: To Hell?
"You have a place aboard this ship," he said. "If you have nowhere else to go."
I smiled at him. "Thank you, but what about Beckett?"
ZeldaQueen: What about him? He never shows up unless the Suethor needs pointless drama
"Damn Beckett," he hissed. "He can't touch you."
ZeldaQueen: Um, actually he can. She's a pirate, he's got plenty of charges he can use to legally hang her, plus keeping her around means it would be easier for him to threaten Jack and Jones
"But he can hurt you," I countered. "I don't want anything happening to you on my account."
ZeldaQueen: (Sue) "We haven't had sex yet!"
"What more can he do to me?" he aksed with a humorless laugh. "If he kills me, he'll be doing me a favor."
ZeldaQueen: You bastard. Stop stealing Bootstrap's lines! \~/
"Don't talk like that," I murmured as I placed my hand on the side of his face. "You're needed here."
ZeldaQueen: And yet the goddess of the ocean is. Priorities people. It's all about who the Suethor finds sexy
"You've become a good liar," he muttered.
ZeldaQueen: Almost as good as Bella Swan, yes
"I'm not lying. Your crew needs you; our world needs you. I need you."
ZeldaQueen: (Kate) "And that's all that matters, really - what I want and need!"
I leaned forward slightly, our lips only inches apart.
ZeldaQueen: GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But he abruptly drew away.
"You don't need me," he said darkly. "You have Sparrow."
"I do need you," I countered, placing my hands on his powerful arms. "I need you now."
"What...?"
ZeldaQueen: (Jones) "Dammit woman, can't you focus on anything else?"
"You told me you loved me," I said, cutting him off. "Do you still mean it?"
ZeldaQueen: I have a feeling that the Sue won't be letting go of that one any time soon
"Katherine, I -"
"Do you?" I demanded.
"Yes! I do love you, Katherine! But you don't want me! You have Jack!"
ZeldaQueen: I'm sorry, but this sounds like Jones is desperately making things up to get rid of her. "Um...sure I love you, honey but...um...your husband! Yeah! Can't forget about him!"
And I find it hilarious that it reads that way, considering that we're supposed to believe that this is True Love
I suddenly felt a lustrous hunger burning inside, one that swept throughout my blood with searing heat,
ZeldaQueen: So you have the midnight munchies. Just get a sandwich, like everyone else
and I kissed him with such passion that it surprised the both of us. My heart beat a tattoo in my breast,
ZeldaQueen: Was it of a heart with a dagger in it, or of a dragon?
and I began to tremble as the kiss broke; I felt as if I were no longer in control of my desires, of my own heart. I needed him, wanted him.
ZeldaQueen: And, I repeat, clearly that's all that matters
"Do you know how badly I've wanted you?" he whispered huskily. "So badly it hurts."
ZeldaQueen: . . . Ummmm
"Davy..."
He kissed me again, gently laying me down on the bed.
ZeldaQueen: Am I the only one wondering how he can kiss when his face is rather...erm, flatish?
"I need you," I sighed. "I want you."
"You have me all night."
ZeldaQueen: That makes it sound like Davy Jones is a parking meter
When we cried out in the final rapture of glorious release,
ZeldaQueen: With the juices of their love...
I'm very sorry
I collapsed atop Davy Jones, breathing heavily, covered in a thin, gleaming film of sweat. I could hear nothing but the pounding of my raging heartbeat.
ZeldaQueen: Dude, that's not sex, that's a full-on aerobics work-out!
He kissed me ardently, and I allowed him to do so,
ZeldaQueen: Oh, you allowed him to do so, hmm?
and we separated, breathless. For many moments we stared at one another, lost in the other's eyes. I could see in his eyes the flames of furious passion. Suddenly he sat up, as did I.
ZeldaQueen: (Jones) "Did I leave the oven on?"
"What have we done?" he murmured.
ZeldaQueen: I really can't tell you, seeing as the Suethor just skipped it. It's most disappointing, really
The familiar pain of regret stabbed through my heart like a blunt sword.
ZeldaQueen: I'll stab you with a real blunt sword, girly
I looked away from him, ashamed of what we had done. I was a foolish woman, a stupid woman, for allowing myself to lose control.
ZeldaQueen: Because those silly wimmuns are just bags of hormones and need a Big Strong Man to keep their libido in check.
Yes, I know I've commented on it many a time. But given how Kate's been acting like a modern feminist and is a pirate anyway (a role whch would hardly cause her to have traditional thoughts on her femininity), it's very infuriating to see her go on like that
"What we shouldn't have done."
ZeldaQueen: They put an egg in the microwave
I reluctantly rose from the bed, dressed myself, and made a pathetic attempt to calm my tousled hair. Jones watched me, his eyes heating my skin wherever they rested. I felt a need to return to him again, but knew that what I had done was wrong. I was an adulteress.
ZeldaQueen: *rolls eyes* I'm not one of the fanbrats. I'm not going to cry for poor Kate and say she doesn't deserve to beat herself up. It's more than obvious that the Suethor just is getting everything she wants
But yet Jack had hurt me deeply when he went to Scarlett.
ZeldaQueen: Well that was different. That was him. Anything Kate does is fine!
No. This was not my way of getting revenge against Jack. I had acted upon a desire that I had long thought I suppressed, yet tonight I couldn't control it. I had lost control and it felt so good...for those few glorious hours. For those few hours I was mad with love and desire for a man that I knew was not mine.
ZeldaQueen: Um yeah, I still don't feel sorry for Kate. She's got to be the least sympathetic little blighter I've ever read about
"I have to leave," I said softly without looking over my shoulder. "Good night."
ZeldaQueen: Wait, didn't they go at it all night? Isn't that imply that it's now morning?
I silently left the room and shut the door behind me, not daring to look back.
ZeldaQueen: Of course not. That might lead to development and reflection and a desire to change behavior and we can't have that, now can we?
(Author's Note: This chapter was going to be very M-Rated, but since I didn't want to gross out my Jack/Katherine shippers,
ZeldaQueen: What about your canon/no-self-insert-Sues shippers, do you mind grossing them out?
I deleted the love scene...or at least a majority of it. And I wrote this chapter because I felt as if the story was beginning to drag...and I had a dream last night which I will not discuss. It makes me blush just to recall it...
ZeldaQueen: Gethesemane, admit it. You're Stephenie Meyer
So, yes, Katherine's been very naughty, but don't worry. Everything will work out in the end. So please don't hate Katherine or me!
ZeldaQueen: Why? You just admitted that Kate only screwed Jones partly because the plot was slowing down and partly because you had a wet dream!
Now if only I could get Johnny Depp to forgive me for screwing his character over...)
ZeldaQueen: After saying he deserved the mutiny, fat chance of that
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ZeldaQueen: So yeah, that was it. Pretty tame, all in all. Not nearly as offensive as we all thought. Apparently the M-rated version was on her DeviantArt account, but it's been long gone. Shame that someone didn't get a hold of it while it was still up...
*waggles eyebrows* Oh Das Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeervin!
