Also It feel extremaly funny that you would mention 'Lullaby' because it was exactly what was I refering to. What with the whole arc of ecological terrorist it has. I wouldn't have described his style as dreamy, but dazed because for me 'dreamy' has peaceful connotations, and while reading about the macabre is not such much that you don't find it macabre but that you just don't care.
And about the cross-dressing (Why do I keep talking about drag?) is there any chance you have read 'Arkham Asylum' by Grant Morrison? Because really, that's how I picture Draco in his mother wedding dress.
