Dude even if it's not Aurora, it's Selene. One of those Day and Night people. But never Diana. Whoever wrote that Diana bit about Endymion is messing with the original story because her heart never gets warmed. THATS THE POINT. Otherwise, it'd just screw up the whole religion and her place in it. COMPLETELY.

Don't make me e-mail my classics teacher on this one -_-

Yes. I am aware that in many versions its Selene, but Selene is associated with the moon. Over time, Selene did become associated with Diana/Artemis. So, thats why in some versions, the tale has been associated with Diana as well. I didnt insist that it was Diana. I only insisted that it was a moon goddess. So bleh xD The only point im defending is that I wasnt wrong in the museum when i said it was a moon goddess, and you were insisting it was aurora.

Im not sayign im right in that its diana, im just saying im not wrong in saying its a moon goddess. And actually, Im curious, because there are versions with Diana, i want to see what your classics teacher has to say. I mean, I thought it was an accepted version. I wonder how accepted...? That would be cool if you would email your teacher. ^^

No, in the museum you said it was Diana, which was why I thought it was weird. I said it was one of those night/day deities and the only one that came to mind was Aurora. I'm just saying it's not Diana.

yes, in the museum i said it was diana, and then when you said i was wrong, I thought better of it, and said it was a moon goddess. And that was my sticking point, as i said before. And im not saying it *is* diana ^^ My stance has been that it was a moon goddess. Because I had a vague memory of it being Diana, or Selene or Phoebe or one of those, but I wasnt sure which and I wasnt going to argue a point i wasnt sure about, which was why i changed it to a moon goddess.

Though, I am wondering how far Selene has become associated with Diana, because..well, she sort of has >.>;; Which was why I suggested you email your classics teacher, becaue i was curious about that, and it pertains to our argument about Endymion ^^;; And, there are variations which say its diana. And I was wondering about the validity of those variations.
